The Civil Air Patrol is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation. Each squadron is responsible for raising its own funds. Donations are used for special events, assistance for cadet scholarships and various aerospace training, education and leadership programs.

GallupCAP Announces the Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) Flights
We will be hosting a Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) Flights event soon at the Gallup Airport. It is open to any teacher in any local school who can benefit from the free teaching materials that CAP can supply. The event will likely be held on a Saturday and will take most of the day.
Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) Flights, formerly known as the "Fly-a-Teacher Program," provides the opportunity for teachers to experience orientation flights in CAP aircraft.
